BrightBox Group is seeking an experienced Technical Architect to lead the design and delivery of innovative technical solutions for the financial services sector in the United Kingdom. The role entails coordinating with stakeholders, guiding the complete solution lifecycle from design to implementation, and ensuring compliance and quality at every stage.

Formación

• Proven experience in requirements management within financial services.
• Experience in solution design and implementation for complex architectures.
• Strong knowledge of FCA, GDPR, and EU Banking laws.
• Experience with government-aligned frameworks and strict regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency working with third-party vendors and integration patterns for payment services.
• Expertise in microservices, APIs, and modern cloud technologies (Kubernetes, GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, Azure DevOps).

We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect to join our team and lead the design and delivery of innovative technical solutions within the financial services sector. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our solutions align with strategic principles and support our business vision. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to manage the complete solution lifecycle from initial design through to implementation, ensuring compliance and quality at every stage.

Responsibilities:

Requirements Management:

• Review business requirements to determine viable technical solutions.
• Create and manage high-level designs and oversee development in collaboration with internal teams and third-party suppliers.
• Conduct stakeholder workshops to ensure comprehensive input into solution design and resolve any conflicts or issues.

Solution Design:

• Align solutions with corporate and strategic principles.
• Deliver technical architecture artefacts and ensure they meet agreed templates and protocols.
• Assess solution impacts on licencing, certification, and compliance, providing assurances or workarounds where applicable.
• Serve as the central point for technical decisions, collaborating with development and testing teams.

Assignment Management:

• Evaluate change requests and estimate technical architecture resources required for project phases.
• Produce standard-compliant project documentation and manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.
• Define project team roles and responsibilities for clear interfaces and dependencies.

Implementation & Transition Management:

• Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to ensure low-level designs meet high-level specifications.
• Update and review asset sheets with configuration management.
• Support testing activities, creating and validating use case scenarios.

Experience:

• Proven experience in requirements management, solution design, and implementation within the financial services sector.
• Familiarity with financial services legislation, particularly FCA, GDPR, and EU Banking laws.
• Strong understanding of core Azure Cloud technologies and banking/financial services domain technology.
• Experience with government-aligned frameworks and strict regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in working with third-party vendors and understanding integration patterns for payment services.
• Expertise in microservices, APIs, integration patterns, and modern cloud technologies (Kubernetes, GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, Azure DevOps, etc.).
