Job Description

The goal is to acquire the skills, knowledge, and competence to operate as a semi-skilled or skilled operator, performing various engineering and manufacturing processes within the cold rolling environment while adhering to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.

The Role
  1. Utilize training placements available within Hadley Group Technology.
  2. Gain relevant skills and knowledge through the apprenticeship training scheme.
  3. Achieve necessary training qualifications for future roles.
  4. Participate in regular training review meetings with managers and trainers.
  5. Attend day-release college courses to obtain technical certificates related to the apprenticeship role.
  6. Document job reports for placements and complete training checklists in the logbook/portfolio.
  7. Promote health and safety standards during all training activities.
  8. Become proficient in using a variety of machine tools, including conventional and CNC turning, milling, grinding, and drilling.
  9. Perform any other duties within the scope of the job capabilities.
