About the Team

Our Business Applications & Deployment Team plays a crucial role in delivering and supporting the technology that powers the business. Working closely with the Service Desk, Technical Services, Development, and Projects teams, we manage everything from software rollouts to desktop performance, ensuring our people have the tools they need to succeed.

As demand for innovative systems and seamless integrations continues to grow, we’re expanding our capabilities — and that’s where you come in.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll play a hands‑on role in testing, deploying, and maintaining the firm’s software estate, ensuring every application performs at its best.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Testing, configuring, and deploying new software across the firm.
  • Maintaining and managing the corporate desktop image to ensure stability and consistency.
  • Troubleshooting complex issues at both operating system and application level, following through to resolution.
  • Providing 3rd line technical support — tackling the problems others can’t solve.
  • Ensuring applications and OS patches are deployed regularly to maintain compliance with InfoSec requirements.
  • Supporting ad‑hoc technical tasks and business‑as‑usual operations within the wider IT team.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a self‑motivated, collaborative professional who thrives in a busy technical environment.

You’ll bring:

  • Strong experience with SCCM deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Hands‑on skills with AdminStudio packaging and Windows 10 design and configuration.
  • Knowledge of 3rd party patching tools such as SCUP.
  • The ability to write PowerShell scripts to automate and streamline processes.
  • Working knowledge of XenApp/XenDesktop VDI environments (beneficial).
  • A solid understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy management.
  • Excellent 3rd line troubleshooting skills and analytical thinking.
  • A proactive, flexible attitude — comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and meticulous attention to detail.
