Job Title: Technical Application Specialist, UK & Ireland - Windows & Door Hardware
Area to be covered: UK & Ireland (Ideally based M62 corridor)
Work Environment & Conditions: 50% home based : 50% field based, 95% of activities within the UK & Ireland region 1-2 days of home office per week
Salary: £42,000 - £52,000 + 20% Bonus (paid annually) + Company Electric Van / Car with fuel card

Responsibilities:
- Working for an international manufacturer of high-quality window and door hardware and sealing systems, as well as roof windows
- Be the go-to expert for technical support across the UK & Ireland region.
- Play a key role in supporting customers, fabricators, and internal teams with product applications, installations, and training.
- To ensure seamless integration of high-quality window and door hardware and sealing products and deliver exceptional service / solutions.
- Provide technical support for standard and advanced product applications
- Investigate and resolve complex technical inquiries
- Conduct sample installations and test fittings (internally and externally)
- Support fabricators during the onboarding and servicing of products
- Act as a practical trainer within the training program
- Participate in local product certification and testing processes
- Maintain and update local technical documentation
- Reports to Regional Sales Manager, UK & Nordics
Requirements:
- Must have technical, technical sales or engineering experience within the building materials industry, ideally within windows and doors
- Must have UK drivers licence
- Ideally working with functional hardware and have a good understanding of mechanical products.
- Strong technical acumen and interest
- Solution-oriented and customer-focused mindset
- Proactive and well-prepared approach
- Accurate documentation skills
- Clear, honest communication with a light commercial touch
