Job summary

Talk Recruitment is seeking a Technical Animator for a Warwickshire-based gaming developer. You will streamline animation tools and workflows to deliver high-quality character and prop animations.

Work with art and programming teams to overcome technical challenges, implement animation pipelines, and help build tools for future features in UE4. A strong showreel and knowledge of skinning, rigging, and anatomy are required.

Qualifications

• Professional experience of animation and technical animation for games.
• Proficient in Maya and related animation tools.
• Experience with skinning and rigging.
• Ability to develop tools and pipelines for animations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the animation team, streamline and optimise processes.
• Collaborate with art and programming to overcome technical challenges and build tools.
• Help implement quality in-game character and prop animations.
• Assist with skinning, rigging and pipelines for animation tasks.
• Build tools for future animation challenges in a user-generated content environment.
