Join Our Team as a Technical Support Administrator - (Chemistry Background)!

Job Tite: Technical Support Administrator

Hours: 8.30am - 5pm

Salary: Up to £27,500

Are you ready to take your career to the next level in a dynamic environment? We are looking for a motivated and well‑organised Technical Support Administrator with a background in Chemistry to join our team in Basingstoke.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Communication: Engage with UK customers, European distributors, and our sales team via phone and email to provide high‑quality technical support.
  • Customer Support: Assist UK customers to enhance their industrial management processes.
  • HSE Compliance: Collaborate with the sales team to ensure adherence to the latest Health, Safety and Environmental regulations.
  • Sample Coordination: Prepare and dispatch sample packs to customers, and analyse returned samples.
  • Results Management: Review and communicate analytical findings clearly and accurately.
  • Technical Enquiries: Handle technical questions from customers and the sales team.
  • R&D Liaison: Work closely with our internal laboratories on technical projects.
  • Manufacturing Communication: Coordinate with our manufacturing sites in the UK and Europe on production and quality control matters.
  • Technical Information Distribution: Ensure that product and technical information is effectively shared between Product Managers, Sales Teams, and Distributors.
  • Document Management: Maintain Technical Data Sheets, Reference Papers, and Training Documentation.
  • Safety Compliance: Collaborate with external consultants to keep Safety Data Sheets and UFI codes up to date.
  • General Office Support: Provide administrative and organisational support to the wider office team as required.
Skills and Qualifications
  • BSc in Chemistry (or closely related scientific discipline).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
