Overview

UK Spares Technical Administrator-Worcester

£13.68 - £17.39 (c. £26k - £33k)

Are you a Technical Administrator with experience in parts identification and customer support?

Our client, Yamazaki Mazak, is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years. Jonathan Lee Workforce Solutions are the preferred supplier to Mazak.

Responsibilities
  • Identify parts across the full range of UK, Japanese, Singapore and Chinese built machines and perform related administration
  • Sourcing parts and spares, placing orders and tracking delivery
  • Take incoming calls from customers and field engineers, supporting with their queries and requests
  • General administration including customer documents, special requests, quotes, orders and credit notes
  • Arrange returns to suppliers
  • Use spare parts software, including Parts Information Database
  • Communicate with other Mazak Production plants
Essential Criteria
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Knowledge of Mazak products
  • Ability to read electrical and mechanical manuals
  • Team focused and able to meet the targets of the department
  • Ability to manage a project through to completion
  • Highly motivated and proactive
  • Computer literate
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • The ability to learn quickly and apply into practice
Desirable Criteria
  • An engineering background
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • A knowledge of windows-based applications
  • Flexible working approach to meet demand (to include overtime if required)

  • Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.15am to 4.30 pm
  • Overtime is paid at Time 1/3 first 2 hours then Time 1/2 thereafter each day. Saturday is Time 1/2 and Sunday Double Time.
