Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a solid background in administrative tasks. This role involves managing office operations, supporting staff, and ensuring efficient workflow within the organisation. The Administrator will be instrumental in maintaining a professional environment and facilitating communication across the technical department.

Responsibilities
  • Generation of customer certificates of analysis and conformity (COA and COC).
  • Support the wider technical team with technical administration tasks.
  • Document control and quality system maintenance.
  • Raising of certificates of inspection (COI) for Organic export products.
  • Direct and indirect communication with customers.
  • Management of sites EUDR compliance for all EU exports using the TracesNT system.
  • Tracking/trending of customer complaints.
  • Tracking/trending of site stock quarantines.
  • Managing the sites packaging intake process - recording and cross-checking packaging intakes against artworks.
  • General office administration.
  • Additional tasks requested by the Technical Manager.
The Person
  • Organise workload to meet specific deadlines often based on production/supply chain requirements.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with different departments on a small/medium site.
  • Can work independently with the need for daily oversight.
  • Proactive with a strong ability to problem solve.
  • Experience working within a food manufacturing role.
  • Working knowledge of office-based systems e.g. excel, word etc.
  • Knowledge of BRCGS requirements - ideal but not essential.
  • Knowledge of working with online portals and retailer systems - ideal but not essential.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems - ideal but not essential.
