The Opportunity

A specialist noise‑control consultancy is looking to add a Technical Acoustic Sales Engineer / Consultant as part of planned growth. The role blends design, assessment and client‑facing consultancy with commercial input - with a defined path into senior leadership as the team scales.

What you'll be doing
  • Develop and engineer bespoke noise‑control solutions across varied sectors
  • Undertake acoustic assessments and provide clear, defensible technical advice
  • Own and grow client relationships as a trusted technical partner
  • Produce detailed proposals and support sales activity
  • Work with delivery teams to ensure projects land on time and to spec
What you'll bring
  • Degree in Acoustics, Engineering or similar
  • Experience in acoustic consultancy or industrial noise control
  • Strong grasp of both theory and practical mitigation methods
  • Confident communicator with solid organisation skills
  • IOA membership (advantageous)
  • Full UK driving licence and ability to attend Reading office / sites
