Technical Accounting & Advisory Senior Manager - Isle of Man

Isle of Man | Permanent | Excellent Low Tax Package

The Company

Reach International is working with this Global Accountancy firm to appoint a Manager or Senior Manager to itstechnical accounting and advisoryteam in its Isle of Man office.

The Role

• Interpret UK GAAP and IFRS across all topic areas and provide technical advice both to colleagues and clients
• Provide technical and financial reviews for the Financial Statements of listed entities
• Audit Quality initiatives and advice on developments in International Financial Reporting
• Provision of guidance materials and technical bulletins as required
• Delivery if technical training both internally and externally
• Support to the audit teams on the more complex areas of the audit engagements, when required
• GAAP conversion services

The Candidate

• Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent
• Thorough knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP (US GAAP also beneficial)
• Currently undertaking a similar role at Manager or Senior Manager level
• Strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to present to, and train others
• Ability to identify business development opportunities and provide audit support
