Job summary

Currys plc in Exeter is seeking a Sales Colleague on a fixed term contract for the Peak period. This part-time role covers 8 hours per week with occasional extra hours, offering £12.71 per hour plus an average bonus of 89p per hour (rising to £13.01 after probation).

You’ll join a friendly team, attend a short induction, and help customers find the right tech while working across store departments. Weekend availability and a customer-focused mindset are encouraged.

Qualifications

• No in-depth tech knowledge required; two to three day induction.
• Flexible weekend availability; stores open 7 days a week, typically 9am–8pm.
• Strong customer service and team-player mindset.

Responsibilities

• Asking the right questions to match customers with products.
• Making every customer interaction memorable.
• Offering support services like delivery and installation, recycling and ways to pay.
• Contributing towards the overall sales performance of the store.
• Working across different departments and product ranges.
• Supporting with the running of the store by completing operational tasks.
