Job summary

Currys in Bridgwater is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Colleague on a fixed-term contract for Peak periods. The role is 8 hours per week with flexibility for more hours, at £12.71 per hour plus an average bonus of 89p per hour (rising to £13.01 after probation).

You’ll join a team delivering great customer service and helping customers choose technology products. The induction spans 2–3 days (virtual or at our Fort Dunlop academy in Birmingham).

Qualifications

• Approximate experience in retail or customer-facing roles.
• Ability to learn about the latest technology and assist customers.
• Comfortable meeting sales and customer experience targets.

Responsibilities

• Asking the right questions to match customers with products.
• Making every customer interaction memorable.
• Offering support services like delivery and installation, recycling and ways to pay.
• Contributing towards the overall sales performance of the store.
• Working across different departments and product ranges.
• Supporting with the running of the store by completing operational tasks.
