Job summary

Currys plc in Rotherham is seeking a Sales Colleague for peak periods. This part-time role offers 8 hours per week with potential extra hours and a starting hourly rate of £12.71, plus an average bonus of £0.89 per hour. Probation raises bring it to £13.01 per hour where applicable.

No deep tech knowledge is required; you’ll receive a two-to-three day induction and ongoing training to confidently sell, serve and support customers.

Qualifications

• No in-depth tech knowledge required; induction provided.
• Training on product demos and launches during induction.
• Flexibility to work weekends; stores open 7 days.

Responsibilities

• Ask the right questions to match customers with products.
• Make every customer interaction memorable.
• Offer delivery, installation, recycling and payment options.
• Support the store's overall sales performance.
• Work across departments and product ranges.
• Assist with running the store through operational tasks.
