Job summary

Currys in Scarborough is seeking a part-time Sales Colleague (Peak). The role is 8 hours per week with flexible option to work more. The pay is £12.71 per hour plus an average bonus of 89p per hour, rising to £13.01 after probation.

Induction is 2–3 days either virtually or at the Fort Dunlop academy in Birmingham, with training on selling, serving and supporting customers. Shifts include Saturdays and Sundays; stores open 9am–8pm generally.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate clearly and help customers choose products.
• Willingness to learn product knowledge during induction.
• Comfortable working towards personal sales, service and customer experience targets.

Responsibilities

• Match customers with products by asking the right questions.
• Make every customer interaction memorable.
• Offer delivery, installation, recycling and payment support services.
• Contribute to store sales performance.
• Work across departments to cover product ranges.
• Assist with store operations and tasks to keep the store running smoothly.
