Job summary

Octopus Group is seeking an Account Executive/Senior Account Executive with agency finders to drive PR and marketing for technology products. You will manage multi-project campaigns, develop content, and engage media and influencers, while building strong client relationships.

You will work with account teams to plan on delivering results, attend events, and produce reports. A strong ability to manage deadlines, write well, and adapt to fast-paced client needs is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months PR or marketing experience with technology products
• Experience in either a professional services organisation or agency environment
• Strong writing capabilities with attention to detail including blogs
• Experience managing a busy press office and liaising with media
• Social media campaign experience for consumer/tech clients
• Ability to build relationships with clients and internal colleagues at all levels
• Adaptable communication style for different clients and teams

Responsibilities

• Manage PR and marketing programs with account teams and clients
• Attend industry events and secure press coverage for consumer tech products
• Oversee multiple projects from conception to completion within deadlines and budget
• Develop client correspondence and status updates for internal leads
• Monitor media coverage and prepare client reports with analysis
• Build national/local media and analyst contacts and track industry moves
• Produce high-quality communications content and influence communications plans
• Coordinate traditional and social media outreach programs
