Job summary

RedCat Digital is a data-driven consultancy delivering complex technical solutions for clients in a fast-paced environment. The role centers on leading data-oriented engineering projects using AWS, TypeScript, Python and modern frontend technologies.

You will steer architectural decisions, build APIs and ETL pipelines, mentor junior engineers and contribute to strategy as the team scales in London and beyond.

Qualifications

• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript, Python and AWS experience.
• Good understanding of system design and architecting, including data engineering and data management.
• Experience promoting engineering standards, best practices and testing.
• Experience building APIs, cloud-based ETL pipelines, customer UIs and end-to-end data processing solutions.
• Stakeholder management skills.
• Strong engineering background.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Great people skills and the gravitas to take lead on strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of data-orientated technical consultants to develop complex technical solutions.
• Work hands-on on technical delivery, initially around 80% of the role.
• Take on more leadership responsibilities as we grow into the role.
• Build complex, data-driven technical solutions.
• Contribute to projects with positive real-world impact.
• Support and guide more junior members of the team.
