Job summary

SSE plc in the United Kingdom is offering an IT & OT Graduate Programme designed for graduates who want to build specialist expertise from day one. Over two years, you’ll gain hands-on experience, work on meaningful projects and receive mentoring across SSE’s technology teams.

After completion, you’ll have the opportunity to move into a permanent specialist role supporting SSE's secure and innovative technology solutions for the UK electricity future.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:2 honours degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or another STEM field.
• Two-year graduate programme with hands-on projects across SSE's IT and OT domains.
• Clear path to permanent specialist roles in AI, digital, cyber defence, OT, analytics or IT/OT engineering.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a two-year development programme with mentoring and structured training.
• Work on meaningful projects and build specialist expertise in chosen technology pathway.
• Progress to a permanent specialist role after successful completion of the programme.
