Job summary

IP Careers is assisting a leading London firm in recruiting a Tech/Electronics Patent Attorney. The role provides exposure to complex patent matters and a clearly defined pathway to Partnership from the outset.

Candidates with approximately 4–6 years' PQE are ideal, though those with 3 years' PQE who can demonstrate the right technical expertise will be considered. You will manage a varied caseload, draft and prosecute applications, and mentor junior colleagues.

Qualifications

• Qualified Patent Attorney with approx. 4–6 years' PQE.
• Strong technical background in electronics/engineering or related tech.
• Experience handling complex patent matters.
• Excellent drafting and prosecution skills.
• Mentor junior colleagues and progress toward Partnership.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of patent matters relating to technology and electronics.
• Advise clients on patent protection strategies.
• Draft and prosecute patent applications with high technical accuracy.
• Develop client relationships and contribute to practice growth.
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge.
