Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year's experience in accounts preparation within a practice environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements in accordance with relevant financial reporting standards.
• Prepare accounting schedules to support the balances and transactions in financial statements.
• Manage time to ensure that jobs are finished within budget.

Skills

Strong practical knowledge/experience of accounts preparation

Strong double entry knowledge

Cloud based accounting systems knowledge

Strong IT skills including Word, Outlook, and Excel

Excellent communication skills

Basic tax knowledge

Accuracy

Organisational/time management skills

Confident when dealing with clients

Use initiative to identify problems

Education

AAT level 3 or 4, ACCA or ACA studier
