Job summary

Computacenter invites graduates to join its Technology Consultant Graduate Programme in a national UK role, with travel to customer offices as required. You will join the UK Consultancy & Engineering Practice and follow one of two pathways: Data & AI or Networking, Security & AI.

You will gain structured development, hands-on experience and mentorship as you begin a career in IT consultancy, working with experienced colleagues to deliver practical technology solutions.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related subject, with relevant content aligned to one of the pathways
• The confidence to contribute your own ideas, take initiative and be a self-starter
• A collaborative approach, with a focus on best practice and delivering high-quality work
• A growth mindset, willingness to learn and the drive to keep developing throughout the programme
• A proactive and motivated approach, with the ability to manage your time and balance different priorities
• An analytical and methodical approach to problem-solving, with strong written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to build relationships with different people, communicate effectively and have the curiosity to ask questions
• A strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, customer-facing environment
• An interest in working with new technologies and understanding how they can support customers' objectives
• Availability to begin the programme in September 2027
• Security Clearance will be required as part of the role, so you'll need to be willing to undergo the required clearance process
• The flexibility to travel to customer offices across the UK when required

Responsibilities

• Work alongside experienced consultants, engineers and wider business teams to understand customer requirements and help develop practical technology solutions
• Support the design and deployment of automated networking workflows
• Gain experience with tools such as Python, Ansible and network APIs
• Work with networking and security automation
• Use analytics and telemetry to monitor performance, identify anomalies and help prevent outages
• Develop experience across routing, switching, software-defined networking and multi-cloud environments, including AWS and Azure
• Interpret technical information and present findings using visualisation tools, presentations and customer meetings
• Across both pathways, collaborate with colleagues across Sales, Projects, Consultancy and Engineering
• Gain exposure to a global corporate environment and senior stakeholders
• Receive support from a dedicated mentor and buddy throughout the programme and beyond
• Work towards industry-recognised qualifications and certifications
• Connect with our wider Early Careers community and initiatives across the business
• Develop towards a long-term career within Computacenter, with potential progression to IT Expert role
