Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
G3 is seeking an experienced Technology & Data Lead to build and lead our tech function. You will design internal tools, data pipelines, and AI-driven solutions to solve strategic business problems, guiding architecture and vendor relationships.
You’ll partner with senior leadership to deliver scalable data and AI capabilities, while shaping the stack as the function grows. A hands-on leader, you’ll blend development with strategic direction.
G3 is a market-leading strategic intelligence and investigations firm headquartered in the UK. We are one of the world’s largest human source-driven intelligence companies, operating across major global financial and legal hubs. We are a high-growth company, backed by one of the leading private equity investors in business services.
G3 has operated for over two decades, with diverse and talented commercial and operational teams across six international offices. We are supported by a deep bench of senior advisers, including former leaders of the US, UK and Australian intelligence services, former chairs of global banks and former managing partners of leading law firms.
We provide intelligence to inform strategy on major corporate and private equity transactions, complex regulatory and policy matters, senior appointments, and other critical commercial decisions.
We also advise clients in contentious situations, including fraud and misconduct investigations, legal disputes and asset recovery. Our dedicated cyber team provides specialist advice and support to help clients understand and manage an evolving threat environment.
We are seeking an experienced and hands‑on Technology & Data Lead to build and lead our technology function. This is a newly created role for someone who is a data engineer at heart, with meaningful experience working on applied GenAI problems. Successful candidates will have the curiosity and commercial awareness to use data, analytics, and AI to solve a broad range of commercial and operational problems.
Day to day, you will build internal applications and workflow tools, stand up data pipelines, design integrations between our core systems, and automate processes that currently take too long or rely on manual effort.
You’ll make architectural decisions, manage deployments, and own the quality of what you build. Where we work with external technical consultants, you’ll lead those relationships by setting requirements, reviewing work, and ensuring delivery.
You will also help connect our data to the people who need it by maintaining dashboards, automating reporting, and implementing AI‑powered tools.
You’ll work directly with senior leadership across business development and operations, understanding their problems and building solutions that make the organisation more effective. Initially operating independently, you will have autonomy to shape our technology stack, architecture, and ways of working as the function grows.
This role will suit someone who naturally gravitates toward solving business problems with data and technology, and who takes pride in building things that work.
We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace and encourage applications from all qualified individuals, regardless of race, gender, disability or any other characteristic.
We conduct rolling interviews to ensure a timely hiring process, so candidates are encouraged to apply early, as the position may close once a suitable candidate is found.
