Job summary

NEXT in Gateshead is seeking a Stock Team Member to ensure stock is located, packed and ready for online and in-store customers. You will work 8 hours per week with shifts on Mon and Fri 12:00–16:00, supporting all store areas with fast, friendly service.

You should be precise, organised and reliable, able to work independently or as part of a team, keep areas clean, meet deadlines and uphold NEXT policies and values.

Responsibilities

• Locate, pack and promptly process stock; transfer in/out of store.
• Ensure stock is available for online orders and on the sales floor.
• Meet deadlines to deliver to customers on time.
• Keep store areas clean, tidy and organised.
• Work across store areas and provide fast, friendly service.
• Report to Coordinators or Managers as part of the store team.

SHIFTS YOU ARE APPLYING FOR: 8hrs p/w; Mon 12:00 - 16:00; Fri 12:00 - 16:00

Working as part of a fast-paced store team, your top priority will be to locate, pack and promptly process stock, ensuring it's beautifully presented to our customers. When you're needed to work on the salesfloor, your outstanding customer service skills will shine through. In return for supporting all Company policies and procedures and having a great attitude to work, we will invest in you and your development from day one. Flexible working options are available.

About the Role

To be a successful Stock Team Member you will have perfect products available for our online customers by:

• Accurately processing stock quickly and to the highest standard, which includes locating, packing and promptly transferring stock in and out of store
• Meeting deadlines to always deliver to our customers at the promised time
• Keeping operational areas of the store clean, tidy and organised
• Working in all areas of the store as needed, including the sales floors, to offer fast and friendly service
• Working as part of the store team, reporting to one of our Coordinators or Managers
