Job summary

Premier Inn in Edinburgh (South Queensferry) is seeking a friendly Ground Floor Team Member to help guests from arrival to departure. You’ll check guests in, serve breakfast or dinner, answer questions and resolve issues to keep the stay smooth.

No hotel experience is required; many crew come from retail, cafés or hospitality. If you enjoy busy environments and helping people, we’ll train you for the role and future opportunities.

Ground Floor Team Member - Edinburgh (South Queensferry) Premier Inn

You are the first person many of our guests meet. And often the last before they leave.

As a Ground Floor Team Member, you'll welcome guests, help them check in, answer questions, serve breakfast or dinner and do whatever it takes to help their stay go smoothly.

No two shifts are quite the same. One moment you could be helping a family check in before their holiday. The next you might be serving breakfast, recommending somewhere local to eat or helping solve a problem for a guest.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.56 per hour

Contract:Permanent - we don't do zero-hours contracts.

Hours: 30 guaranteed hours per week.

Location: Edinburgh (South Queensferry) Premier Inn, Builyeon Rd, South Queensferry EH30 9YJ

Shifts:Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What you'll do

As a Ground Floor Team Member, no two shifts look exactly the same.

Depending on where you're needed, you might:

• Welcome guests and help them check in
• Serve breakfast or evening meals
• Answer questions and help solve problems
• Help keep the reception, restaurant and public areas looking their best
• Support your teammates across the hotel when things get busy
• Make sure every guest feels looked after from arrival to departure

This isn't a role where you'll spend your shift in one place. You'll be helping guests, supporting teammates and keeping the hotel running smoothly.
