Job summary

NEXT plc in Manchester is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join our fast-paced store team. You will process stock quickly, ensure shelves are replenished and kept tidy, and provide fast, friendly service on the sales floor as needed.

The role offers flexible working options with part-time hours (7.25 hrs per week across Tue 10:30-14:30 and Fri 16:45-20:00) and an emphasis on accuracy, energy and teamwork. Evidence of right to work in the UK is required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately processing stock quickly and to a high standard, including scanning, unpacking, hanging, size cubing and stock put-away.
• Ensuring stock is presented well and correctly placed on sales floors or storage areas.
• Keeping store and stockroom areas clean, tidy and organised.
• Providing fast, friendly customer service from back or front of store and on the sales floor as needed.
• Working as part of the store team under coordinators or managers.

SHIFTS YOU ARE APPLYING FOR: 7.25hrs p/w; Tue 10:30 - 14:30; Fri 16:45 - 20:00

Working as part of a fast-paced store team, your top priority will be to efficiently process our products so that they are available to customers as quickly as possible. When you’re needed to work on the salesfloor, your outstanding customer service skills will shine through. In return for supporting all Company policies and procedures and having a great attitude to work, we will invest in you and your development from day one. Flexible working options are available.

About the Role:

• Accurately processing stock quickly and to the highest standard, which includes scanning, unpacking, hanging, size cubing and putting stock away
• Ensuring all stock is gorgeously presented and put onto the sales floors or away in the stockrooms correctly
• Keeping operational areas of the store clean, tidy and organised
• Offering fast and friendly service to our customers from back or front areas of the store, working on the sales floor as needed
• Working as part of the store team, reporting to one of our Coordinators or Managers
