Job summary

The Ship Inn, part of Young's Pubs, sits beside the Yealm Estuary in a village setting, with a riverside beer garden and its own mooring space. We are a historic pub with premium drinks and fresh, seasonal food, seeking hospitality-driven team members to join our friendly operation.

You will learn to serve drinks behind the bar, take food and drink orders, and handle tills while delivering a warm, tailor-made guest experience.

The Ship Inn sits in a truly stunning location on the banks of Yealm Estuary, complete with riverside beer garden and even its own mooring space! We're a historic village pub and we're looking for top talent to join our friendly team in one of the most idyllic pub settings in the area.

A traditional pub with elements of a more formal dining restaurant; we're focused on providing premium drinks, food made from fresh and seasonal ingredients, and a warm and friendly welcome from our team.

What we look for in our team members:

We are looking for individuals who can not only provide quality service in a locally-beloved establishment, but who is also willing to go the extra mile to create a memorable experience for every one of our guests. We are looking for hospitality-driven personalities in a people-focused industry who will work as part of our team to ensure a tailor-made, welcoming expereice for everyone who steps foot through our door.

You'll recieve training on how to serve drinks to our standard, how to take food orders and use our tills, as well as gaining product knowldge on what we sell.

What you'll be doing:
