Job summary

Chopstix in Cardiff is seeking a friendly Team Member to join a fast-paced, exciting environment. You will greet customers, take and pack orders, and help deliver a bold, tasty dining experience. The role may include late-night shifts up to 4am, with a focus on cleanliness, safety, and teamwork.

Ideal candidates bring a passion for hospitality, a can-do attitude, and a smile, ready to contribute to a busy Chopstix team in the UK’s fastest-growing No.1 Asian QSR.

Qualifications

• Team member passionate about providing great service in a busy environment.
• Be the first point of contact for customers and create a fantastic experience.
• Take and pack orders, ensure fast, fresh, tasty food presented to spec.
• Be flexible for late nights; occasional late trading until 4am.
• Keep front counter, restaurant and toilets clean and tidy.
• Assist back of house with food prep as required.
• Adhere to Health & Safety and Food Safety guidelines.
• Maintain customer happiness with bold flavours and a smile.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take orders at the counter or drive-thru.
• Prepare and package food to brand standards and customer spec.
• Support team with cleaning and stock replenishment as needed.
• Assist in kitchen prep and food assembly when required.

WHAT DO WE WANT?

We are looking for a team member, who are passionate about providing great service, you will thrive in a busy environment, and enjoy working as part of a team.

• You will be the first person our customers meet; it is up to you to create a fantastic experience for each one of them.
• You will be responsible for taking & packing orders, ensuring that our FASTER, FRESHER, TASTIER food is presented and delivered to the customer exactly to product specification.
• Up for late nights? We may trade until 4am on select nights - flexibility is key!
• You will be responsible for ensuring our front counter, restaurant and toilet areas are always kept clean and tidy.
• You will assist back of house as and when required, preparing the food ready for the Wok Chef to cook.
• We expect our teams to adhere to all Health & Safety and Food Safety guidelines, maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
• You will put our customers' happiness at the centre of everything you do, providing Bolder Flavours &dining experience, to every customer every time. But most importantly do all of the above with a big smile and have fun!
