We are seeking a proactive and compassionate Team Manager to lead the Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) Team in Birmingham. Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Personal Advisors supporting UASC
Oversee and coordinate Duty functions to ensure timely and effective responses
Drive improvements in service delivery, focusing on integration, safeguarding, and wellbeing
Work closely with internal and external partners, including legal, health, and social care agencies
Ensure compliance with legislative frameworks and best-practice standards
Provide supervision, appraisals, and professional development to staff
Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England
Experience supporting children in care or care‑experienced young people
Previous experience working with unaccompanied asylum‑seeking children is desirable, but strong transferable experience is welcome
