TEAM MANAGER - SASH (Specialist Adolescent Service Hertfordshire) 🌟

📍 Based at Farnham House, Stevenage

💷 £44.50 per hour

🕓 Full-time | 37 hours per week | Hybrid (3 office / 2 home)

About the Role

We're looking for a passionate and experienced Team Manager to join our Specialist Adolescent Service Hertfordshire (SASH) team. You'll operationally manage and develop a multi-professional team that delivers intensive interventions to young people at risk of exploitation - ensuring only the right young people become looked after and that risks are reduced within a contextual safeguarding framework.

You'll work closely with young people and families across Hertfordshire who are facing challenges such as :

  • Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE)
  • Child Criminal Exploitation (CCE)
  • Family Breakdown - preventing children becoming Looked After
  • Young People Missing from Home
  • Risk of Radicalisation
  • Rehabilitating Young People home after care
  • Involvement in the Criminal Justice System
  • Supporting the SASH Hub
💼 Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support a dedicated team of professionals delivering interventions to young people.
  • Provide supervision, performance management, and professional development for staff.
  • Oversee complex caseloads and ensure high-quality safeguarding practice.
  • Drive positive outcomes for young people through effective leadership and collaborative working.
🎓 Requirements
  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
  • Extensive line management / staff supervision experience
  • Strong background in familial and extra-familial safeguarding
  • Experience working with CIN, CP, CLA
  • Skilled in managing complex cases and supporting staff resilience
  • Knowledge of current legislation relating to safeguarding and welfare of children
  • Car driver (essential)
