Job summary

Tameside Council's Children’s Services is recruiting experienced Team Managers to lead social work teams across Safeguarding, Cared for Children and Children with Disabilities. Qualifications

• Recognised social work qualification and substantial experience in statutory children’s services.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding frameworks, policy and legislation.
• Expertise in identifying and responding to all forms of harm, including exploitation.
• Commitment to relationship-based and strengths-based practice.
• Ability to collaborate with children, families, communities and partner agencies.
• Passion for anti-discriminatory practice and inclusive services.
• Focus on children’s voices and best interests in decision-making.
• Ability to inspire, support and develop staff through supervision and leadership.
