📍 Location: Cheshire
🕘 Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
💷 Pay Rate: Up to £45 per hour (Umbrella)

We're looking for an experienced Team Manager to join the Kinship Team within Children's Services in Cheshire.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and motivated manager with a strong background in kinship care to lead a passionate team supporting children and families.

💼 Key Responsibilities
  • 👥 Lead and manage the Kinship Team, providing supervision, guidance, and support to staff.

  • 📝 Ensure quality assurance of reviews, SGOs (Special Guardianship Orders), and kinship assessments.

  • ⚖️ Ensure compliance with Regulation 24 procedures and statutory requirements.

  • 💡 Promote best practice, continuous improvement, and positive outcomes for children.

  • 🤝 Work collaboratively with internal and external partners to deliver high-quality services.

Essential Requirements
  • ✔️ Proven experience as a Team Manager within Children's Social Care or a Kinship setting.

  • ✔️ Strong understanding of Regulation 24, SGOs, and Kinship assessments.

  • ✔️ Experience in supervising and developing staff.

  • ✔️ Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
