Job summary

Salford City Council is seeking an experienced Team Manager to lead the Eccles & Irlam Integrated Neighbourhood Social Work Team. You will oversee Care Act responsibilities, drive high-quality adult social care and safeguarding practice, and work with partners to improve outcomes for Salford residents.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience of team leadership or management within Adult Social Care.
• Strong knowledge of the Care Act 2014, strengths-based approaches, and safeguarding legislation.
• Commitment to person-centred, rights-based, outcome-focused, early intervention and preventative practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of the Integrated Neighbourhood Social Work Team under Care Act duties.
• Foster multi-agency partnerships with PCNs, health colleagues, housing and voluntary sector to drive place-based care.
• Support staff development through supervision, coaching and reflective practice, ensuring high performance and wellbeing.
