We're seeking a proactive and knowledgeable professional to lead a small team ensuring the safety of our housing tenants and leaseholders. You’ll oversee compliance in key areas including fire, gas, electrical, asbestos, lift safety, and water hygiene. The role involves promoting safety awareness, conducting risk assessments and site audits, monitoring CDM compliance, and fostering a strong health and safety culture across our services. If you’re passionate about making homes safer and have a strong background in compliance and risk management, we'd love to hear from you.
We're looking for someone who: Provide essential skill/experience, Personal qualities or values. You're a confident and collaborative professional with a strong understanding of health and safety compliance, particularly within housing or property services. You bring experience in managing or supporting teams and are comfortable leading audits, risk assessments, and promoting a safety-first culture across diverse stakeholders. You'll have working knowledge of the Big Six compliance areas fire, gas, electrical, asbestos, lift safety, and water hygiene and be familiar with CDM regulations. You communicate effectively with tenants, leaseholders, contractors, and colleagues, and are passionate about creating safer homes.
