The Cared for Children and Care Experienced Service is looking to recruit a Team Manager, based at our Workington office. Join us in making a real difference in the lives of our children, young people and the people that are important to them. As a Team Manager, you will lead a team of Dedicated Social Workers and Pathway advisors in our 0‑25 model, ensuring that our children and young people feel happy and safe, spend quality time with the people that are important to them, have effective permanency plans and are supported with kindness and care in every aspect of their lives. Working in collaboration with council colleagues and partner agencies, you will play a key role in safeguarding children, promoting positive outcomes, and ensuring their safety and well‑being. Your leadership will provide clear oversight, timely decision‑making and continuous professional development for your team.

This role requires an Enhanced DBS check with a Children’s Barred List check. The role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974.
