Job summary

Cheshire East Council is seeking an experienced Team Manager to lead our Child in Need, Child Protection and Family Help services, safeguarding children and strengthening families.

You will shape service delivery, support staff, promote relationship-based practice, and collaborate with partners to implement Families First reforms and deliver positive outcomes for children.

Are you an experienced social work leader ready to make a lasting difference for children and families? We're looking for a passionate and ambitious Team Manager to lead our Child in Need, Child Protection and Family Help service, supporting high-quality practice and driving positive outcomes across Cheshire East.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team of social workers and practitioners, providing strong management, oversight and professional support in a service that is focused on keeping children safe, strengthening families and helping children thrive. You'll play a key role in embedding our Family Help approach, ensuring children receive the right support at the right time while promoting excellent practice and timely decision-making.
