A local government council in the UK is seeking a Team Manager for the Norwich Community Care Team. The role involves managing a busy locality team, leading on key portfolio areas, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality social work services. We offer a £2000 welcome payment for qualified and experienced Social Workers/Occupational Therapists (grade J and above), Practice Consultants and Team Managers new to Norfolk County Council. Amount to be repaid in full should they leave within two years of employment.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Manager in the Norwich Community Care Team providing statutory social work and occupational therapy services in our city. Whether you are an experienced social work manager or a senior practitioner looking for your next career development opportunity, we would like to hear from you. With strong social work values and a collaborative leadership style, you will have a strong commitment to embracing integrated working within the Norwich Primary Care Network as our system progresses its journey in becoming an Integrated Care System. You will be able to provide a strong social work voice and take pride in cultivating a culture of quality practice, open learning and service improvement. You will be joining a committed, supportive and energetic local management team and will have responsibility for leading on key locality portfolio areas, supporting a diverse staff group as well as managing a busy locality team focused on delivering a high-quality service. Quality support and supervision will be provided to you.
Our technology platform and equipment are first class, enabling you to connect and collaborate remotely. We ask that you have in place good broadband connectivity. Interviews will take place via video technology, where you will have the opportunity to discuss these working arrangements.
Please note this post is for 2 days per week and would be a Thursday and Friday.
