Overview

Team Manager — Location: Plough Lane, Hereford, HR4 0LE. Start Date: ASAP. Contract Duration: 3+ Months. Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 09:00 - 17:00, 37 Hours per week. Pay Rate: £29.29 per hour. Job Ref: OR16212.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of social workers and family support workers.
  • Focus on improving outcomes for children and families.
  • Provide supervision and case direction.
  • Collaborate effectively with the service management team.
  • Implement service and quality improvements.
  • Work within a locality-based model, primarily based in Leominster.
  • Attend meetings in person as required.
Person Specifications
  • Must Have:
    • Degree in Social Work or equivalent.
    • Significant post-qualification social work experience.
    • Social Work England registration.
    • Experience in child protection, PLO pre-proceedings, care proceedings, and adoption work.
    • Strong communication and decision-making skills.
    • Proven record of managing staff and budgets.
  • Nice to Have:
    • Experience in a locality-based model.
    • Familiarity with restorative and relationship-based practice.
    • Experience working with legal teams and court applications.
