A psychological services provider in Huddersfield is seeking a Clinic Manager to oversee daily operations, coordinate teams, and manage client processes. Candidates should have relevant professional registration and experience in team management, alongside a strong understanding of autism and ADHD criteria. This role offers a competitive salary, professional development opportunities, and the support of a dedicated team.
At Evolve Psychology Services, we equip our clinicians with the tools and support they need to focus on what matters most: delivering exceptional care to children, young people and their families. You will join a passionate and supportive multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based assessments for autism and ADHD, delivered through both NHS-funded and private pathways. Working closely with the Operations Managers, you will help oversee the clinical team at our Huddersfield clinic to ensure timely, accurate assessments and the highest standards of care.
In this role, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the clinic, liaising with the Bookings Team to coordinate rotas and workloads while ensuring the smooth delivery of services. You will be expected to problem-solve logistical challenges, such as clinician absences, and support clients and families through the appeals and complaints processes, escalating cases to the senior leadership team when necessary.
You will coordinate the onboarding of new clinical staff and identify any gaps or inefficiencies within clinical processes, working collaboratively with leadership to resolve them. The role includes providing support in multidisciplinary team meetings, identifying training needs within the team, and offering clinical supervision as appropriate. You will line manage clinicians, oversee quality assurance checks of diagnostic reports, and ensure reports meet professional and organisational standards.
Alongside these duties, you will work with Operations and HR to monitor and meet workforce needs, contribute to audit and governance activity to ensure clinical excellence, and monitor clinic performance and quality metrics in line with ICB contractual requirements. This is a leadership position that requires a thorough understanding of DSM‑5 diagnostic criteria for autism and ADHD, NICE guidance, and the ability to work collaboratively across all areas of the organisation.
Evolve Psychology is a clinician-founded, clinician-led service established in 2014 by Consultant Clinical Psychologist Dr Laura Powling. We were created with a clear vision - to combine care, connection, empathy and clinical excellence without compromise. What began as a small practice delivering expert witness and neurodevelopmental assessments has grown into a national independent psychology service, proudly partnering with the NHS since 2021.
Our multidisciplinary team of over 100 experts provides high-quality, evidence-based assessments for autism, ADHD, dyslexia and dyscalculia, supporting children, young people and adults across the UK.
At Evolve, we prioritise clinical quality and impact over speed or scale, ensuring our assessments make a real difference to the lives of families. With a strong values-led culture grounded in compassion, clarity and integrity, we are proud to be an award-winning organisation leading the way in neurodevelopmental care and innovation.
About Evolve Psychology
At Evolve Psychology, we dothings differently. Founded in 2014 by Dr Laura Powling, Evolve Psychology began with a bold aim to redefine what clinical and forensic psychology means in practice. Lauras vision was simple yet powerful, to bring care, connection, empathy and clinical excellence together, with no compromise.
What started as a small practice delivering expert witness and neurodevelopmental assessments has blossomed into a national independent psychology service. We earned our first NHS contract in 2021, launched satellite clinics to streamline access, and rolled out neurodevelopmental services to families across the UK. In 2023 we were awarded a further contract in Dublin, to help support the HSE on the assessment of need pathway in Ireland.
We are clinician founded and clinician led, proudly registered with HCPC and affiliated with the British Psychological Society and the Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists. We are also award-winning, a testament to the dedication and quality of our multidisciplinary team of over 100 experts.
