Production Team Leader – Cannock

An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client based in the Cannock area for a Production Team leader.

You will provide a proactive hands‑on leadership approach to all personnel on your shift. Responsible for performance and ensuring the timely delivery of customer orders. Maintain high standards of health and safety, product quality and operational discipline. Support and contribute to the ongoing improvement of production processes, staff training and performance whilst promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

  • Lead & manage production staff, operators & material handlers.
  • Drive performance in line with quality, H&S and enforcing correct PPE.
  • Lead performance in line with targets (quality/cost/deliveries).
  • Promote & implement best practices and initiatives.
  • Support team members through coaching & job training.
  • Oversee distribution of quality packs, machine cell set up for shift start‑ups & support oncoming shifts.
  • Minimise downtime.
  • Provide excellent standards of quality inspection, use of best practise tools & structured problem solving.
  • Be responsible in ensuring that non‑conforming parts are quarantined, logged and correct disposal of parts actioned.
