A local governmental council in England is seeking a part-time Team Leader for its Adult Social Care Young Adults Disability Team. The role requires extensive knowledge of adult social care and aims to enhance the lives of young people aged 16-43. The successful candidate will manage a team of community support workers, ensuring high standards and effective service delivery. Ideal applicants will have a degree or equivalent experience in management, with a strong focus on team collaboration and performance management.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time post (18.5 hours per week) job share to work in the Adult Social Care Young Adults Disability (YAD) Team as a Team Leader. The successful applicant will work with our existing and established management structure within the YAD. The ideal candidate for this role will have extensive knowledge of working in an Adult Social Care setting especially to support young people aged 16-43 as part of their preparation for adulthood.
The Team Leader will be operationally responsible for the day-to-day management of a team of community support workers and trainee Community support workers within the team. The Team Leader will maintain a high performing team ensuring high standards and an effective service.
A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
