Job summary

Vision for Education is recruiting a Cover Supervisor to support secondary schools across Durham and surrounding areas. You will lead classes in the absence of the teacher, deliver pre-planned lessons, and help maintain a positive learning environment while following school policies.

This entry-level opportunity is suitable for team leaders, graduates, coaches, or mentors seeking classroom experience before teacher training. Training and progression support are provided.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in teams, coaching, or group management.
• Confidence working with secondary-aged pupils.

• A genuine interest in education and supporting young people.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and a valid DBS (or willingness to apply).
