Job Summary

We are recruiting Theatre Team Leaders who share our vision to deliver consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to patients. The role required is a Scrub Theatre Team Leader with all‑round knowledge of elective (Vascular, Orthopaedics, Urology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Plastics, Robotics, ENT and General Surgery) and emergency procedures.

Main Duties
  • Maintain health, safety and infection control in clinical work areas.
  • Assist and care for patients undergoing elective and emergency procedures.
  • Receive, transfer and position patients for clinical procedures.
  • Prepare equipment and supplies, keeping waste to a minimum.
  • Work in any theatre area according to service needs while ideally remaining within the assigned department.
  • Act as clinical lead to staff at Band 6 and below and supervise staff within a specific area of responsibility.
