A retail company is seeking a Grocery Team Leader in Belfast. The successful candidate will manage the daily operations of the Post Office and contribute to the store's development, while ensuring high customer satisfaction and effective team performance. Previous supervisory experience in retail is essential. The closing date is 6th November 2025.

Job description

Your primary role will be as a Grocery Team Leader with additional assistant duties in the Post Office. Working to maximise sales and help minimise loss across the Store, by carrying out allocated tasks in order to contribute to the continuous development and improvement of both the Post Office and WineFlair Store. Serving customers and achieving a high level of customer care and satisfaction by providing a wide range of products and services. Managing the successful daily operation of the Post Office unit, handling and balancing cash accurately. Completing administration duties as required. Responsible for security and accuracy of stock and transactions of the Post Office on a daily and weekly basis.

Responsibilities
  • To assist in planning, reviewing and implementing both short and long-term strategies to further develop the growth and progression of your Store and Wine Flair (Belfast) Ltd.
  • To assist in managing store staff and ensure their adherence of all company policies & procedures.
  • Ensure full use of all resources to maximise the effectiveness and efficiency of your store.
  • To assist in implementing all necessary processes and procedures to maximise both staff and store performance to increase the profitability of your store.
  • Assist in implementing all necessary processes and procedures to achieve high performance standards in your store.
  • Key holder (WineFlair and Post Office)
  • To assist in the overall running of the Post Office and WineFlair business wherever possible
Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous supervisory experience in a retail environment essential.
  • A good standard of education
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
