HMCTS administers criminal, civil and family courts and tribunals in England and Wales. We support people and businesses as they access life‑changing justice. We are committed to public service and making a difference in people's lives.
You will lead your team, prioritise and organise work, and ensure the team is fully skilled to meet objectives. You will also contribute to operational performance, provide statistical data to management and judiciary, monitor trends, review procedures, recommend improvements and support the implementation of new initiatives.
New recruits to the Civil Service joining MoJ are expected to join at the band minimum. These operational roles are customer facing, requiring an office‑based professional to provide HMCTS services to the public. Standard full‑time working hours are 37 hours per week. HMCTS welcomes part‑time, flexible and job‑sharing working patterns, based on business needs and agreed prior to appointment.
The MoJ offers hybrid working arrangements. Employees are expected to spend a minimum of 60% of their working time in an office, subject to local estate capacity. Some roles may not be suitable for hybrid working; arrangements will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate(s).
