We are delighted to announce the forthcoming opening of Dove Ward, a new Acute Assessment and Short Stay Treatment Unit (AATU) offering care and treatment for up to 28 days. Dove Ward will expand our Adult Acute and Urgent Care services, providing an opportunity to shape and lead an innovative, compassionate, and recovery-focused environment from the very beginning. We are seeking an experienced, resilient and motivated Team Leader who demonstrates our Trust values of Welcoming, Kind, Positive, Respectful and Professional in everything they do. You will be an inclusive and compassionate clinical leader, committed to delivering personalised, high-quality care to women accessing acute inpatient support, and to ensuring their families and carers feel involved, reassured and heard. This role offers the chance to lead a team in a forward thinking service grounded in three core principles:

  • Trauma-informed and harm-aware inpatient care
  • Culturally competent and anti-discriminatory practice
  • Autism-informed and neurodiversity affirming care
Key Responsibilities
  • have oversight and 24-hour responsibility and accountability for the provision and management of high quality nursing care and the treatment of service users within the inpatient service area.
  • provide effective clinical leadership to ensure all nursing staff receive the appropriate supervision and support in conjunction with an agreed professional development plan
  • ensure effective nursing assessment and provision of a high standard of care within the inpatient service area
  • act as a positive clinical lead and role model within the inpatient service area
  • manage and develop the inpatient service team who can meet the changing needs of the service user.
