Job summary

UK Landscapes Ltd in Watford is seeking a Team Leader and Grounds Maintenance Operative for the start of the new season. This mobile role covers multiple sites in and around Watford.

You will manage a small team, work independently or with others, use power tools, and drive a company van with an iPad provided. Overtime may be available.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a small team.
• Experience in commercial grounds maintenance or landscaping.
• Experience using handheld power tools (petrol mowers, trimmers, hedge cutters).
• Valid driving license.

Responsibilities

• Mobile round working on multiple sites (retail parks, offices, schools, parks).
• Carry out planned maintenance or reactive work on sites.
• Work within a small team.
• Provide customer service to ensure client satisfaction.

We require Team Leaders & mobile Grounds Maintenance Operative/s within Watford and surrounding areas this is a mobile role and pick up/drop off can be arranged depending on your location.

You must have

• Experience of managing a small team
• Working independently or within a small team
• Must have commercial grounds maintenance or landscaping experience
• Experience of using hand held power tools, such as petrol mowers, strimmers hedge cutters etc
• A valid drivers license is essential

The job

• Mobile round working on various multi site commercial properties such as retail parks, supermarkets, offices, schools & colleges, parks and open spaces
• Regular visits carrying out planned maintenance or reactive work on sites
• Working within a small team
• Customer service interaction is essential to ensure the client is happy with the works carried out
• Company van, mobile I pad are all provided
• Vehicle checks

Permanent positions and other opportunities are available for the right candidates

£30k-£40k + based on 48hr per week pay through an annualised hours programme. (Overtime maybe available at a premium rate but not guaranteed)
