Are you an experienced leader with a passion for delivering exceptional service in a healthcare environment? We're looking for a Porterand Security Team Leader to join our team at Queen Mary's Hospital. What you'll do:

  • Lead and manage a team of porters and security staff to ensure a high-quality, responsive service.
  • Oversee daily operations, including staff rotas, workload allocation, and quality control.
  • Ensure safe and efficient transfer of patients, materials, and equipment across the hospital.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and security policies.
  • Motivate and develop your team through effective communication, training, and performance management.
  • Previous experience in portering or security within a hospital or similar environment.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer care abilities.
  • Manual Handling training and a valid SIA licence.
  • IT proficiency and ability to manage rotas and reports.
  • Flexible, proactive, and able to respond quickly to operational needs.
