Job summary

Gloucestershire County Council is seeking a Team Leader in the Stability Provision for Family Time to lead a dedicated team of family support workers. You will drive high-quality practice, support staff supervision, and build strong multi-agency relationships to ensure children experience positive family time while in care.

Qualifications

• Experience leading family services teams in social care settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of family support workers supporting family time for children and families involved in court proceedings and children in care.
• Lead and provide day to day management of the team
• Ensure professional supervision of the team
• Represent the team in multi-agency working
• Support and oversee life story work
• Establish an effective and collaborative relationship with social work team managers, to achieve progress and stability
• Be part of a management team overseeing a rapid response service and contribute to out of hours management cover
