Qualifications

  • Passionate and experienced in leading a team in children's services.
  • Hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have a car.
  • Not have qualifications solely in Health Care or Nursery Practitioner.

Team Leader – Children’s Services

📍 Location: Studley, B80

💷 Salary: £13.44 per hour (without NVQ Level 3) / £14.18 per hour (with NVQ Level 3)

⏰ Working Hours: Full-time, permanent, rota basis

🛏 Number of Sleeps Required: Sleep-in shifts required (not every shift)

💤 Pay Per Sleep: £55 per sleep (9:30pm – 7:30am)

🏡 Service: Children’s Home

👥 Service Users: Children with learning disabilities and complex needs

🎓 Qualifications Required: NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent / working towards)

🕒 Experience Required: Experience supporting children with learning disabilities and leading a team

📄 Employment Type: Permanent

Eligibility and Requirements

  • You do not hold a Full UK Driving Licence and do not have a car
  • You only hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care (not deemed equivalent)
  • Candidates with only HealthCare, NHS, CQC, or Nursery Practitioner qualifications
  • You require sponsorship – no sponsorship available

Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Children's Home will not be considered.
