Job summary

A care services provider in Walsall is seeking a passionate and experienced Team Leader to lead day-to-day operations within a residential children's home. You will support a team focusing on helping children with learning disabilities achieve their goals. Applicants must have an NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare and a Full UK Driving Licence. This permanent position offers competitive hourly wages, shift work, and various employee benefits.

Qualifications

  • Passionate and experienced Team Leader needed to lead shift operations.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and a car required.
  • Individuals without CQC experience in Ofsted Registered Children's Home will not be considered.

🌟 Team Leader – Children’s Services 🌟

📍 Location: Walsall (WS4)
💷 Salary: £13.44 per hour (without NVQ Level 3) / £14.18 per hour (with NVQ Level 3)
⏰ Working Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (7:00am – 9:00pm)
🛏 Number of Sleeps Required: Sleep-in shifts required (£55 per sleep)
💤 Pay Per Sleep: £55
🏡 Service: Children’s Home
👥 Service Users: Children with learning disabilities
🎓 Qualifications Required: NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or working towards)
🕒 Experience Required: Experience supporting children with learning disabilities

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Team Leader to support the Service Manager in leading day-to-day shift operations.

You will:

  • ✨ Ensure children achieve their goals and aspirations
  • ✨ Work across a variety of shifts on a rota basis

Do not apply for this role if any of the following apply to you:

  • ❌ You do not hold a Full UK Driving Licence and do not have a car
  • ❌ You only hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care (not deemed equivalent)
  • ❌ Candidates with only HealthCare, NHS, CQC, or Nursery Practitioner qualifications
  • ❌ You require sponsorship – no sponsorship available

Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Children's Home will not be considered.
