Job description

A Night Team Leader at SuperCare provides stability and leadership during the night. You'll ensure children are safe, staff feel supported, and any night‑time challenges – from aggression to distress – are managed calmly. You'll be the one who keeps things on track when the unexpected happens, giving guidance and reassurance to staff and children alike.

What You'll Do:

At night you'll combine leadership with hands‑on care, ensuring consistency across the team.

  • Lead the night shift, ensuring routines and care plans are followed.
  • Support hygiene routines and respond to children waking unsettled.
  • Model calm responses to aggression or challenging behaviour.
  • Keep records accurate and handovers clear.
What We're Looking For:

We're looking for a steady leader who can bring structure, reassurance, and calm to the night shift.

  • 3+ years in SEN, residential, or learning disability care.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Children's Care (or equivalent).
  • Confident, calm leader with patience and resilience.
  • Skilled in behaviour support and trauma‑informed practice.
